NotesFloderus and Hultén specified the following holotype for Salix nigricans var. jenisseensis: Siberia: Jenisei, Patapovskoje, 25. July 1876, leg. M. Brenner (S G-9463). However, if the date is correct, this specimen was collected four years after the name was published.
