Epilobium hornemannii subsp. hornemannii
Publ. & Syn.Rchb., Iconogr. Bot. Pl. Crit. 2: 73, t. 180 (1824). - Nomen novum for Epilobium nutans Hornem., Fl. Dan. 8, 24: 1, t. 1387 (1810), non F.W.Schmidt (1794). Described from Norway. An obvious type is the excellent Flora Danica illustration of E. nutans or the material it was based on, if extant.
NotesNo difference has yet been found between Atlantic and Pacific plants of subsp. hornemannii.
