NotesZhmylev: Saxifraga spinulosa is a Siberian arctic-boreal mountain species of considerable morphological variability, differing from S. funstonii by, e.g., short cilia along the leaf margin.
       Murray and Elven: Zhmylev indicated occurrence also in Alaska. We ask where in Alaska this species occurs.

Not included: A report of 2n = 28 (2x?) from West Chukotka (Zhukova 1969, for S. firma) probably belongs to another species.
