NotesThe plants of Saxifraga aizoides from Svalbard, Iceland, Greenland, Canada, and Alaska differ from the mainland European ones (which reach the Arctic in Norway) in growth form, leaf shape, inflorescence shape, and petal size, shape, and colour. Some racial differentiation might be involved but this variation has never been studied.
