Saxifraga platysepala (Trautv.) Tolm.
Publ. & Syn.Saxifraga flagellaris auct., non Willd. (1810).
NotesThis subgenus falls apart in the molecular phylogeny of Soltis et al. (1996) because its sect. Trachyphyllum constitutes a basal branch, distant from the three other sections (Ligulatae, Porphyrion, Xanthizoon). In their analysis, sect. Xanthizoon is fully included in sect. Porphyrion (and S. aizoides is the sister of S. oppositifolia), and these two sections together is the sister of sect. Ligulatae.
