NotesChenopodium capitatum reaches the Arctic in the Mackenzie River Delta and east of it, perhaps also at Churchill and Fort Severn on Hudson Bay (Scoggan 1978c; Bassett and Crompton 1982; McJannet et al. 1993). Löve and Löve (1982a) reported a chromosome count for this species from Churchill, an arctic locality. It is assumed to be native in arctic Canada (Bassett and Crompton 1982; McJannet et al. 1993).
