Chromosomes84 88 (ca. 12x). - Europe (N), Canada. - At least five reports. Approximately dodecaploid in FCM (Westergaard pers. comm., several populations).
Not included: A report of 2n = 100 from Iceland (Löve and Löve 1944b, omitted by Löve and Löve 1975a).
