NotesKuzeneva (1956) did not accept subsp. lanatum from the Murman area but it is frequent both on the nearby Varanger Peninsula and east to the Norwegian side of the border river, Jakobselva. We have seen specimens (O, S) from arctic sites in the Murman area and also from the non-arctic Khibiny Mountains. We circumscribe this race more narrowly in North America than did Morton (2005a).
