NotesStellaria alaskana is reported north to the Arctic in the Brooks Range (Cook and Roland 2002; also specimens from 2002 in ALA). Morton (2005b) cited good diagnostic characters vs. S. longipes. Stellaria alaskana merits rank as species apart from the S. longipes complex.
