Chromosomes28 (4x). - Europe. - At least four reports, numerous counts.
Löve and Löve (1975a) included numerous reports for their Acetosella tenuifolia, some from the Arctic, but many of these were originally reported for Rumex acetosella s. lat. It is not clear whether this race is consistently tetraploid.
