Publ. & Syn.H. Hara, Fl. E. Himal.: 631 (1966). - Polygonum polymorphum var. ajanense Regel & Tiling, Fl. Ajan.: 116 (1858). Described from Ayan in the Okhotsk area (the Russian Far East).
NotesPetrovsky (1966) suggested Aconogonon ajanense to be close to A. laxmannii (i.e., A. ocreatum) and as "the form distinguished by several authors as Polygonum ajanense".
