NotesAnemone nemorosa reaches the Arctic as native in the Bolshezemelskaya Tundra and the Borderline Arctic as a probably not fully established adventive in Vadsø in Norway.

Many aneuploid numbers within the range 2n = 28-46 were reported from one area in Sweden. Löve and Löve (1975a) accepted only 2n = 30, 'suppressing' the other numbers known at their time.
