Not included: Reports of the decaploid number 2n = 70 by Langlet (1927a), Gregory (1941), Sokolovskaya (1963, Kamtchatka, 2n = 70-72), and Löve and Löve (1975c, European Russia: Archangelsk) must be confirmed by voucher before acceptance. The hexaploid number is accepted as it has been found in undisputed material from the type region (Inarin Lappi; Sorsa 1963b). More than one taxon (race, species) may be involved.
