NotesRebristaya and Yurtsev: Trollius x apertus is assumed to be a hybrid species derived from T. asiaticus x europaeus (Igoshina 1968). It reaches the Arctic in and around Polar Ural and on Vaigach. It is the predominant and uniform plant in a large area where the proposed parents are absent or rare.
