NotesGlyceria striata approaches the Arctic in the southern Brooks Range in northern Alaska (found in 2002, ALA, O).
       There might be arguments for recognition of subsp. stricta, as done in many North American treatments, but Barkworth and Anderton (2007) stated that the variation between western subsp. stricta and eastern subsp. striata is continuous.
