NotesBubnova (1990a): "[Puccinellia sibirica was] not reported before from the Arctic region outside the USSR. In the herbarium of BIN, 2 sheets of this species from northern Canada are preserved under the name P. borealis Swallen: from the environs of Inuvik, Northwestern Canadian Territory, and from Yukon Territory along the Porcupine river". Someone familiar with the North American plants should check these specimens as this might be a case of trans-Beringian duplicate naming.
