NotesArctophila fulva is present but does not reach the Arctic in northern Fennoscandia. The arctic Norwegian range is in Svalbard (incl. Bear Island). The infraspecific variation in this species is appreciable but too insufficiently known yet to allow for recognition of subspecific taxa. For further discussion, see xArctodupontia and Dupontia.
