NotesPoa annua is archaeophytic (Medieval or earlier) at least in Iceland, Norway, and Greenland (there subfossils from the period of Norse 'Viking' habitation). It is perhaps the most frequent of all arctic antropochores, there and elsewhere.

Not included: A report of 2n = 42 from Pakistan (Khatoon and Ali 1993) probably belongs to another species.
