NotesAlaskan records of Poa ammophila need confirmation, see Soreng (1991: 404): "Porsild and Cody (1980) report it from one collection farther west, in Alaska, but this is probably the collection of Tieszen 854, which belongs to P. hartzii subsp. alaskana". Soreng et al. (2003) and Soreng (2007) did not include Alaska in its range.
