Poa tanfiljewii Roshev.
Publ. & Syn.Roshev., Fl. URSS 2: 413 (1934). Holotype (LE): European Russia: the Timanskaya tundra, the Pechora bank near Kuraboz between Viska and Oksin, 08. Aug. 1892, leg. Tanfiljev. - Poa palustris subsp. tanfiljewii (Roshev.) Tzvelev, Novosti Sist. Vyssh. Rast. 9: 50 (1972).
NotesElven and Murray: Poa tanfiljewii has not been evaluated outside Russia and is entered provisionally. Tzvelev's (1964b) arguments support inclusion of P. tanfiljewii in P. nemoralis or (Tzvelev 1976) to relegate it to part of a variable hybrid complex between P. nemoralis and P. palustris. There is only one difference reported from P. nemoralis and that one not discontinuous (more weakly developed callus hairs). The ploidy range in P. tanfiljewii is the same as in confirmed P. nemoralis.
