NotesThe genera Lolium and Schedonorus are closely related as indicated by intergeneric hybrids and by several molecular phylogenetic studies. In the future, they may have to be merged as Lolium (see Namaganda et al. 2006; Fjellheim et al. 2006; Darbyshire 2007; Terrell 2007).
