NotesPresence in the Arctic in Iceland is not confirmed.
Chromosomes42 (6x). - Europe, Russia, Alaska, Canada, Greenland. - Numerous reports.
Conert (1998) reported 2n = 42 as the only number for subsp. rubra. However, see Markgraf-Dannenberg (1980). Zhukova and Petrovsky (1976) reported 2n = >60 from West Chukotka.
