NotesPeterson and Soreng in Soreng et al. (2003) cited as holotype for Agrostis clavata Trin. a specimen from "Kamtchatka, 1829, leg. Kastalsky (LE-TRIN)". That specimen was allegedly collected eight years after the species was described and is therefore inadmissible.
