Agrostis kudoi Honda
Publ. & Syn.Agrostis trinii auct., non Turcz. (1856).
NotesElven and Murray: Tzvelev (PAF proposal) accepted the name Agrostis kudoi for a northern Siberian and Beringian species replacing A. trinii Turcz. (described from the Irkutsk region in southeastern Siberia) in northern regions. Neither Peterson and Soreng in Soreng et al. (2003) nor Harvey (2007) mentioned the name A. kudoi for North America. Moreover, they considered A. trinii (and combinations thereof) synonyms of A. vinealis. We follow Tzvelev's proposal but treatment as a Beringian subspecies of A. vinealis (as proposed by Tzvelev 1971) may be an alternative.
