Deschampsia vodopjanoviae Nikif.
Publ. & Syn.Nikif., Bot. Zhurn. 72: 1666 (1987). Holotype (LE): Siberia: Putorana, "lacus Chaja-Kjuel ...", 09. Aug. 1972, leg. S. Andrulaitis and Z. Malyscheva.
NotesNikiforova (1990a) accepted a second species from northern Siberia in the relationship of Deschampsia anadyrensis: D. vodopjanoviae. Tzvelev (PAF proposal) suggested it for inclusion but later omitted it without relegation to synonymy. Deschampsia vodopjanoviae is a local species in Taimyr-Putorana, reported to slightly penetrate the Arctic. Nikiforova (1987) originally interpreted it to have developed from the hybrid D. glauca (sensu auct. ross.) x D. sukatchewii. The species is entered provisionally.
