NotesBall and Elven: Porsild and Cody (1980) mapped Carex praticola from the Borderline Arctic in the Hudson Bay area but Scoggan (1978b) did not report arctic occurrences. Riley reported it from subarctic parts of Ontario but not from the arctic Hudson Bay coast.
