NotesEgorova (1966a: 102, map 34) and Kozhevnikov (1988: 369) mapped Carex schmidtii only from localities outside the Arctic. However, Egorova (PAF proposal) reported it from the Borderline Arctic in the Anadyr area in South Chukotka.
