Eleocharis sareptana Zinserl.
Publ. & Syn.Zinserl., Fl. Yugo-Vost. Evrop. SSSR 3: 279 (1929). Described from the lower Volga River, Krasnoarmeisk town, the Sarepta River (European Russia).
NotesBubnova (1990b) accepted Eleocharis sareptana as an interior Eurasian species related to E. uniglumis. She reported it to reach the Arctic in the Dudinka area in Taimyr. Czerepanov (1981) synonymized E. sareptana with E. uniglumis. It was not commented on by Egorova but we enter it provisionally. The characters given by Bubnova are not very diagnostic vs. E. uniglumis (stylopodium mammiform or oblate, slightly wider than high).
