Juncus bulbosus L.
Publ. & Syn.Juncus supinus Moench, Enum. Pl. Hass. 1: 167 (1777). Described from Europe and North America.
NotesThe name Juncus bulbosus L. 1753 refers to this species, whereas the name J. bulbosus L. 1762 refers to what currently is known as J. compressus Jacq. 1762. The confirmation by Procków (2002) of the type of J. bulbosus L. 1753 solves the problem.
Kirschner et al. (2002b) considered the Atlantic European subsp. kochii (F.W. Schultz) Reichg. to be poorly defined and, in addition, is does not approach the Arctic.
