Juncus triglumis L.
Publ. & Syn.L., Sp. Pl.: 328 (1753). Described from mountains in northern Sweden (LINN-LAPP 115) and Austria ("Tauro Rastadiensi", Radstädter Tauern). Lectotype (LINN): Herb. Linn. 449.35 (Jafri 1981: 7).
NotesIn Europe, Juncus triglumis is restricted to the mainland parts and Iceland.
Chromosomes50. - Europe (N). - Löve and Löve (1944a, 1956b).
Kirschner et al. (2002b) reported the chromosome numbers of this subspecies as 2n = ca. 120 and ca. 130 with reference to Micieta (1983).
Not included: A report of 2n = ca. 134 from Iceland (Löve and Löve 1956b, omitted by Löve and Löve 1975a).
