NotesDr. Jan Kirschner has commented extensively on the drafts and proposed numerous changes in both genera of Juncaceae. His proposals are, with few exceptions, followed. A major source of information for this family is the treatment for "Species plantarum" (Kirschner et al. 2002a Luzula; 2002b, 2002c Juncus).
