NotesParis quadrifolia reaches just beyond the arctic boundary in northwestern and northeastern Iceland, northeastern Norway (Vadsø), and in northwestern European Russia (the Murman area).

Paris quadrifolia is mostly reported with 2n = 20 (+ 0-10 B chromosomes) but reports from Siberia indicate more variation in that region.
