Notes | For Greenland, see subsp. filiformis above. Les and Haynes (1996: 390) stated that when they synonymized Norwegian subsp. alpina (see above) and North American subsp. borealis, with priority for the former name, they had not seen type material of subsp. borealis. Neither have we. |
