Chromosomes14 (2x). - Europe, Russia, Siberia, Asia (SC), Far East (N). - Numerous reports.
Fedorov (1969) referred reports of some deviating, probably aneuploid, numbers in the range 2n = 10-16.
Not included: A report of 2n = 24 from the Caucasus (Gagnidze and Chkeidze 1975) needs verification as belonging to this species.
