Ophioglossum azoricum C. Presl

NotesWagner Jr. and Wagner (1993) missed Ophioglossum azoricum from the Flora of North America area, even if it is well documented in the collections and was included from eastern Greenland in the standard flora (Böcher et al. 1978). In Iceland, it occurs in several places but has not yet been found in the Arctic (Kristinsson et al. 2007; Kristinsson 2008). Ophioglossum azoricum is a specialist of geothermal sites in the North Atlantic regions.
