Publ. & Syn.Hippochaete hyemalis ssp. hyemalis.
NotesEquisetum hyemale was not recorded from Greenland at the time of Böcher et al. (1978). Daniëls and van Herk (1984) reported a first find from a locality in southeastern Greenland. Hauke (1993) overlooked this report when mapping the species for North America and Greenland. Accordingly, the subspecies and the region of Greenland was not recorded for Flora of North America.
