NotesWagner Jr. and Beitel (1993) mapped Huperzia miyoshiana from the Borderline Arctic in the Yukon River Delta in southwestern Alaska. They must have accepted H. miyoshiana specifically apart from H. chinensis (C. Chr.) Czerep. as they did not refer to the latter name. Tzvelev (1999a) accepted two subspecies of H. chinensis.
