Diphasiastrum complanatum (L.) Holub | |
Publ. & Syn. | Holub, Preslia 47: 108 (1975). - Lycopodium complanatum L., Sp. Pl.: 1104 (1753). Lectotype (LINN): Europe. Herb. Linn. 1257.20, leg. Münchhausen (Jermy 1989: 262). - Diphasium complanatum (L.) Rothm., Feddes Repert. Spec. Nov. Regni Veg. 54: 64 (1944). |
Notes | Kukkonen (1967, 2000) accepted two subspecies for northern Europe: the temperate to boreal subsp. complanatum and the northern boreal to southern arctic subsp. montellii. We accept the latter in a more extended meaning than done by Kukkonen (2000). The variation in Diphasiastrum complanatum is insufficiently studied. |
